Verhofstadt slams eurosceptics who ‘only want to kill the EU’ as he fears populist SURGE

ARCH-EUROPEAN Guy Verhofstadt has lashed out at populist movements threatening to destabilise the EU in this year’s European elections saying the only thing which unites them is a desire to “kill” the bloc.
