How Arsenal should line-up this weekend with Europa League heroes Martinelli, Martinez and Ceballos replacing Xhaka in midfield

ARSENAL hit four in the Europa League to banish some of their demons from their domestic fixtures.

The Gunners have just one win from five Premier League games as they prepare to host Bournemouth on Sunday.

And after hammering Standard Liege 4-0, there are several stars who may be able to change Unai Emery’s fortunes domestically.

Gabriel Martinelli scored a quickfire double to get the ball rolling and highlight his potential.

Record-signing Nicolas Pepe has been struggling and Martinelli, 18, could slot into his spot the right.

While Dani Ceballos also found the net and adds more guile in midfield than skipper Granit Xhaka.

And Emiliano Martinez did not disappoint when he said he would use the clash to stake a claim for Bernd Leno’s No1 jersey.

Emery hinted that he will continue to trust in youth after seeing his kids turning a brilliant show in Europe,

He said: “We have to give chances to the young players and when they take them like that it’s perfect.

“They showed tonight that they can perform and they can score at the highest level. They deserve to be with us and it’s a fantastic victory.

“Martinelli has been showing us his hunger and tonight his performance and his attitude was amazing.

“If he continues to play like that he is going to do very well. Tonight confirmed that.”
